Counselling

ARE YOU READY TO DO THE SHIFT WORK?

Through my own life’s journey navigating challenges of all shapes and sizes, pain, change, motherhood, and self-discovery, I continue to shift and grow both personally and spiritually, bringing to our counselling sessions my lived experience, 15+ years’ experience as a Healing Arts Practitioner, as well as my more formal qualifications.

My approach

I work very much from a person-centered perspective, meaning that I understand and believe that you are the expert on your own life. I do not have all the answers! From day one we will work together as a team to create a life that makes your heart sing. My counselling style is compassionate and integrative; pulling together elements from a number of different theories and approaches - such as positive psychology, mindfulness, cognitive-behavioural theory, transpersonal philosophy, and solution-based practices.

I know that we are more than just these physical beings, and as such we will also explore the mind-body-spirit connection in our sessions together. Combining our counselling work with various bodywork techniques and intuition, we will shift blocked and stagnant energy for better integration, deeper healing, and greater whole-ness. My approach is best suited to adults.

My approach could be for you if you:

  • Desire growth

  • Are searching for meaning, purpose, direction

  • Are looking for greater understanding of self

  • Are feeling overwhelmed, stressed or burnt-out

  • Are struggling with self-worth

  • Are dealing with grief and loss

  • Are looking for a better soul-self-body-spirit connection

  • Are going through a personal transition

  • Are looking for balance of mind-body-soul

  • I AM CURRENTLY ACCEPTING PRACTICUM CLIENTS AT A REDUCED RATE
